Goalkeeper
Alphonse Areola (West Ham): West Ham might have been six behind at Bournemouth if it wasn't for him. Massive moment, rose to the occasion and demonstrated real class. Excellent keeping to secure a 2-2 draw. A loss could have dismantled their campaign.
Defensive unit
Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's in the running for season's best. Fans mention Gunners' stars. He has been the top performer by far.
Murillo (Nottingham Forest): One would need to be a wild optimist to say 'Murillo will score and we'll beat Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. The odds were long shots on that. He was excellent. He is emerging as a force. He is truly a tough opponent. Pleased to watch him perform like last season.
Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I watched him a few times last year in Italy for AC Milan and he was getting killled from his faults. But at Newcastle he's been dominant. He displays really strong and powerful and seems polished. It seems he has secured a spiritual home.
Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not typically a left-back, rather a attacking-minded going forward. He's been a excellent acquisition for Brighton. Who would be surprised at them unearthing more talent unexpectedly? I thought after selling Pervis Estupinan it was odd but the club is aware more than us.
Central players
Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Alike in style and they are selected for the same reason. Their sides were victorious, many mention about the goalscorers, but without these two the squads falter. They excel. They break up play, they join the offense.
Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The current star. Many Arsenal fans, like my child, expressed skepticism about his ability as the man to secure victory. Three goals in the north London derby and supporters now wish to erect a monument of him. Finishing, poise, he ran the show. The best player on the pitch.
Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Maybe this is aspect I share with Thomas Tuchel on - he is at a point now where it will prove extremely tough to bench him. My view was he began well this campaign, I believe he acted with some expectation and hoped he might join to Chelsea, and perhaps aimed for that, but he seems to have found his footing. Two superb finishes in the Leeds match pulled his side when trailing. He proved decisive.
Attackers
Callum Wilson (West Ham): I said he appeared not his normal self. He appeared as if his pace had gone. But wow. That's all I can say. He shone. Phenomenal in his approach and through his scoring.
Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A very notable player. He excels, typically sharper when introduced, but with Gordon sidelined so he is required to feature. He failed to convert a key opening against Manchester City at 0-0 with his most straightforward effort. But to have the mental fortitude to place himself into difficult situations and score twice was great.
Manager
Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He steps in and outperforms Arne Slot. A wonderful gameplan. It could have been several more for Forest and nobody could have argued.
